I’ve been sick going on eight weeks now. Fifty-seven fun-filled days and nights of sore throats, swollen tonsils, fevers, headaches, joint pain, exhaustion…yep, it’s been a real party. In an effort to try to keep a positive attitude even when I feel lousy, I decided laughter is often the best medicine. So, on the nights I had enough energy to do something other than come home from work and go straight to sleep, I put together a new animation depicting what I imagine must be going on in the world of germs and white blood cells when your body is the battleground.
I hope my body is finally on the mend, and I hope you enjoy my drawings of white blood cells dressed in armor and germs wearing newspaper hats.

OMG the little voices!! The battle! The epicness of it all! Sorry that you continue to feel crummy, but I’m glad you are able to smile. š You already know about the power of positivity…even when the last thing you want to do is see the glass as half full. Stay strong!

Thank you for listening to me complain every single one of these 57 days about how crummy I feel, before I declare I’ve gotten the negativity out of my system for the day and am ready to harness that power of positivity. š
